about

This song changed forms a few times. I was playing around with the chord progression that is the finalé of the song (C-Am-F-G-E-Am-F-G) trying to figure out what to do with it. I started writing an organ & bass accompaniment, but I wanted to be able to perform this song live so I didn't want to muddle it up with any soft synths. But then one morning, I decided to scale things back & just play my guitar. No loops. No fancy fx (other then a wee bit of a leslie applied the right channel). Just my guitar. The opening riff just came to me & after that the song sort of just fell into place.

Tycho is one of the largest craters on the moon. There is a beautiful mountain located there & it is really a breath taking landscape.
