Serving as the first single for the Confronting The Shadows concept album, The Spotlight explores the psyche of an individual dealing with angst & depression. It explores those coping mechanisms that allow the individual to continue to appear to be "normal" & "happy" to others. This song is truly about the facades we all hide behind at some point during our lives.
