I decided to revamp & change up my "Live" Jeskola Buzz project file today. Starting from scratch, I re-built it from the ground up; adding a few things & changing how a few of the signal chains flow. As always, my "Live" Buzz Project is a changing beast that I modify as new Buzz Machines are available or I discover a new workflow or sound I want to incorporate into it. The biggest change was adding Rymix's 3DBox machines to most of the main signal chains as well as inserting a third IX Patch Bay so that I can switch between three different VSTi synths triggered by multiple instances of WDE's Note Detector Machine (this part of the signal chain still needs a little bit of work to get it working properly).

Anyway, after all this fooling around, I decided I should test it out. I scrolled through all the patches to make sure they were working & then I settled on the Free Amp 2.5 signal chain. I started playing around with that VST's presets until I ended up on one of the Synth presets called "Dark Flutter". That's when the main theme of this song sort of just came out of nowhere. I played around with some variations & then hit record on Sgorpi's Multi-Track Writer Machine & started to play.

This is my Deluxe Strat, live-to-tape in one take with no overdubs (classic Candle methodology). I trimmed the WAV file a little in Audacity & added a fade at the end & then rendered it to a 320Bit MP3. I'm quite pleased with the result: a synthy, space-rock exploration of sounds.
