A Moment Of Beauty? (From Candle's FAWM 2012 Notes)

Well… maybe - such was the intention

The idea was a good one, I think. The execution - less then stellar. I was hoping to do something for this week's song challenge & came up with the main riff out of the air. I decided to plug in my mic & do some chanting - but I don't feel like this worked. It seemed to feel better whilst I was doing the actual recording - but listening back to it I think it flopped… Oh well, I guess not every FAWM song has to be a gem. This year I've got 2 duds so far… C'est la vie…

Enchanté: Fr. derived from "Enchanter" which means to be under a magical spell. Often used in English in conversation, meaning "nice to meet you" with various social overtones (depending on the inflection). I sort of tried to picture being enraptured by bliss - perfect Metaphysical Bliss or Ecstasy.

Again, the setup follows that of Emergence fawm.org/songs/24904/ with the addition of a microphone plugged into the RadioShack DSM-8060 Mixer.
