This month's community exclusive Lightning Flash release features two all-new tracks that were recorded during sessions whose purpose is to help Candle prepare for the 2021 edition of the 50/90 songwriting challenge. The challenge is to write 50 songs in the ninety days between July 4th & October 1st. You can learn more about the challenge - or sign up for it yourself at fiftyninety.fawmers.org

These two tracks are some of the first put together using Candle's new "Live" Jeskola Buzz setup. After Candle's laptop crashed in February, he bought a new one & decided to completely rebuild his "Live" Buzz project from the ground up. The routing in this setup gives Candle more creative & tonal options as well as a greater flexibility with live looping. The goal is (like last year) to push the creative possibilities of this new setup during 50/90.
